Headquartered in the US Pacific Northwest, Ceptara's clients are typically small to medium sized organizations that are at inflection points in their business where they require outside experts to help them move past and beyond their current capabilities.  They hire Ceptara to help them align their strategies, build scalable business process systems, measure their ability to achieve their goals, and create a continous improvement minded culture.

Ceptara has a need for a Lean Six Sigma trainer to teach our LSS curriculum.  Our courses range from typical LSS course work, i.e. LSS Green Belt or Black Belt body of knowledge, to our unique courses focused on driving personal excellence.

Job Responsibilities

  • Teach Ceptara's Lean Six Sigma curriculum to corporate and academic audiences in a classroom setting.
  • Work with our consultants to design and enhance the LSS curriculum to continue to differentiate Ceptara's training offerings.
  • Provide student coaching to help them achieve certification.
  • Work with industry standard bodies (such as ASQ) to assure LSS curriculum is aligned and capable to prepare the student for their desired certifications.

Skills Required

  • Ability to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles to reach adult learners.
  • Ability to write course syllabi, objectives, and learning plans.
  • Ability to design and create new curriculum consistent with the existing program.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with directional leadership.

Experience

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or greater
  • More than 15 years delivering LSS projects
  • Bachelor's degree, Masters degree preferred in a related field.

Position is offered on a project by project basis.  Additional compensation is available on a commission basis for identified additional training or consulting opportunities.
