I am now evaluating the product, and find it in general well-conceived and helpful.
However, it often slows down work considerably
I suspect the software updates its databases too often so that if i merely assign a task to a project then want to close down the window involved, it takes several seconds before the window actually closes.
Another issue: in the Explorer graphic window, the View button appears to do nothing at all, and I always see the links graphically. In particular the files appear as a complex bunch of boxes linked to the center, with no possibility to sort [details]. is this just me, or is there some other setting to set?

Slow Performance
When the task pane or Project Explorer is open, every object change is considered for impact to the current view in either control. For example, if you have a task object open, change a due date, then when you save the task, the updated due date needs to be added back into the task pane or project explorer view (if required). This can slow down Outlook's response time.
The Project Explorer runs refreshes (mostly) in the background, so performance has been enhanced. However, the task pane has not had the performance update. The current dev version I'm working on will incorporate background refreshing and will improve performance. Look for an update before the end of the year.
Explorer Graphic View (AKA Mind Map View)
When the Windows menu in Project Explorer is set to Mind Map, the selected tree node (on the left) will be the center of the mind map and it's related objects will surround it. The button next to 'Folders' can be used to change the appearance of the boxes and their related detail in a similar way as the List View when it's visible changes the way the listed rows are displayed.
