Can Organiser be used after the trial expires

I have not had time to learn the real value of the Organiser (or even how best to use it) but the trial period expired. [I was involved in a car accident and lost a lot of the trial period whilst in hospital.]

I understand that the trial period can't be extended, but can the system still be used? There is a hint that there is a nag screen (which would be fine) but I can seem to get access to the functions even though I can display the Organiser windows.
